Program Overview

The Veritas Enterprise OEM Licensing Program (EOEM) is designed to enable Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) the ability to easily integrate Veritas products into the solutions provided to their customers. As a Veritas OEM Partner, you can reduce your upfront investment costs by taking advantage of a licensing model that aligns with the way you do business.

The OEM Licensing Program provides you great flexibility in how you can license Veritas products through the fulfillment and payment models described below. You also have the ability to support the Veritas products included in your solutions directly, providing your customers a seamless customer support experience, or you can outsource support for Veritas products back to Veritas to reduce the costs associated with supporting the products.

  • Simplified easy to manage license entitlement process
  • Outsource support back to Veritas for reduced support costs
  • Electronic delivery / management of license / support entitlements
  • Low minimum revenue commitment of $100,000 USD per year to start

Maintain direct relationship with your customers:

  • Develop strong position as your customers’ trusted advisor
  • No Veritas notices to OEM customers (Voucher fulfillment model excluded)

Access to the latest software versions available under maintenance/support

Choose between the following purchase models:

  • Periodic payments (in arrears) based on quarterly usage reports provided by OEM Partner
  • Pre-payment option for entitlements where it makes business sense to minimize costs, like in the case of development of a new solution or market

Volume Discounts: Partners are rewarded for increased levels of commitment

  • The negotiated program discount is determined on the level of commitment you make with Veritas


  • Become a member of the Veritas Partner Force program
  • Complete the OEM Licensing Agreement
  • Meet one of the following OEM Solution Models:
    • Assemble or manufacture solutions that have Veritas products embedded into the solution
      • Embedded in context of the OEM Program, meaning that the product is neither enabled nor entitled to alter the integrated Veritas solution
    • Sell solutions that have Veritas products installed or configured prior to end user customer shipment (pre-loaded) or as in integrated part of the solution’s installation routine

Once enrolled, contact your Veritas Partner Success Manager for assistance in requesting an OEM Agreement to be created for you. You will need your Partner Program ID number that you were assigned by joining Partner Force.
